NEW YORK–(COMMERCIAL THREAD) – Paramount + today announced that PAW PATROL: THE MOVIE, which premiered on the service the same day it hits theaters on August 20, is one of the most-viewed originals on the service.

In addition to its record-breaking streaming debut, PAW PATROL: THE MOVIE had a strong theatrical opening, earning $ 13.2 million at the domestic box office in its opening weekend. The film was received enthusiastically by audiences, earning an A-CinemaScore and a 97% audience score for Rotten Tomatoes. These national debuts followed an excellent international opening, and the film has now opened No.1 or No.2 in 10 markets, including No.1 in France, Germany, Mexico, Norway, Hungary and in Portugal, and No. 2 nationally (United States). and Canada), as well as in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Austria.
