Official trailer and key art released

November 11, 2022 – Paramount+ today announced that new episodes of the groundbreaking documentary series BEHIND THE MUSIC will premiere exclusively on the service in the United States and Canada on Tuesday, November 29, featuring Jennifer Lopez, Boy George, Jason Aldean and Remy Ma. Additionally, seven remastered episodes featuring iconic artists Boyz II Men, Christina Aguilera, Gloria Estefan, Hootie & the Blowfish, Mötley Crüe, Pink and TLC will be released on the same day. Paramount+ has also released an official trailer and key art for the series. Episodes will drop in other international markets where the service is available throughout 2022-2023.

Official loglines for new episodes:

· After three decades, Jennifer Lopez is at the top of her game and shows no signs of slowing down. J.Lo reflects on key moments from her iconic career in music, film and fashion while celebrating her gift with hubby Ben Affleck.

Boy George looks back on his meteoric rise from 80s outcast to global superstar with Culture Club. A tumultuous romance, intense fame and addiction nearly destroyed his career – but 40 years later, he remains an LGBTQ+ pop icon.

· Jason Aldean is a small-town kid turned country superstar who never looked back in life and changed the genre of country music forever.

· Remy Ma shares her journey to becoming the queen of New York hip hop. His path to glory with the Terror Squad was paved with loss – a prison sentence nearly ended everything – but his comeback inspired millions.

These four artists join the star-studded lineup of original episodes of BEHIND THE MUSIC on Paramount+ featuring Bret Michaels, Busta Rhymes, Duran Duran, Fat Joe, Huey Lewis, LL Cool J, New Kids on the Block and Ricky Martin.

The series is produced by Bruce Gillmer, Jennifer Demme and Michael Maniaci for MTV Entertainment Studios. Mark Ford and Alex Castino are executive producers for Creature Films, alongside Tara Long for Entertainment One.
